The last few years, Robinson Iron has had more and more requests for cast bronze fountains using our traditional patterns. One of these requests was from the Church of Latter Day Saints in Farmington, CT.
Working with Layton Construction and FFKR Architect’s David Rees along with Richter and Cegan Architects, Robinson Iron helped design the perfect fountain using existing patterns coupled with a brand new pattern for the base.
While the majority of the fountains we create are in iron, bronze can be a fantastic metal to use because it is just as durable (if not more so) never needs painting! Bronze pieces can receive a patina finish (like the brown patina on this piece), or just be allowed to naturally “color”.
This wonderful picture was just recently sent to us from Layton Construction and we appreciate all of their hard work!
Thanks for stopping by!
